Glamour Magazine Behind the Scenes

This is the first installment of my series taking you behind the scenes of some of my favorite shoots throughout my 10 year career as a celebrity makeup artist. This is the behind the scenes on a shoot for Glamour Bulgaria shot by Kouroosh Sotoodeh, styled by Jenn Park Krulik, Hair by Rachel Hopkins, and featuring models MJ Butterly and Hanna Verhees.

While working behind the scenes on this shoot, I used a white liner over a taupe-y cream shadow on MJ. White eyeliners are so hard to get right formula wise. I think I used MAC Chromacake in pure white which is a water activated cake makeup.

I am pretty sure I used MAC Ruby Woo for her lipstick with a touch of lady danger in the center of the lip.

I wanted to do spider-y lashes on Hanna with a perfect, multi colored lip.

I piled on layer after layer of Westmore Beauty Lash drama.

Her lips were 3 different shades of liquid lipsticks by Anastasia Beverly Hills and Lime Crime. I used Limecrime lip velvetines in Pink Velvet and True love. The Anastasia Liquid Lipstick I used in this behind the scenes is discontinued, but the shade Bellini is similar.

These were some key products from my two favorite looks from this shoot. I will be posting more of my work behind the scenes as a makeup artist. Let me know if there are any shoots in particular you would like behind the scenes scoop on.
